The Election Period (also known as Caretaker period) will commence 12pm on 17 September 2024 (nomination day) and will conclude at 6pm on 26 October 2024 (election day).

Under the Local Government Act 2020, Council must carefully consider all activities undertaken prior to and during the election period, that could be seen to impact the result of the election in any way. During the election period, communication and promotion of events and activities will be temporarily impacted. 

You will still be able to add events to this site, but they will not be visible until after the election period concludes on 26 October 2024.
